The EquiNet was established for those who need to find commercial capital for a client, but may not have the time or expertise to successfully complete the process. Perhaps you are in a profession in which business owners and entrepreneurs look to you for advice. With the help of EquiNet, you will be able to provide your clients with the vast reservoir of knowledge, products and skills of the Equity Companies – while you get paid. As a member of the EquiNet, you don't have to be a financial expert. Because we are.
Once you become a part of our network of referring members, helping a client locate the capital they need is simple:
After discussing the deal with your client, you will submit their funding request to the EquiNet. The Equity Companies will review the deal and then a representative will contact your client to obtain more details – either directly or in conjunction with you, at your request. Simply put, you can be as involved or as uninvolved as you choose to be. (Submit a Deal Now!)
The Equity Companies will process the preliminary data and prepare the deal structure or structures best suited for your client's needs. At this time, it may be necessary to collect more information from the client to ensure a configuration that works for them. The Equity Companies have access to an extensive and varied range of products that can be used alone or as part of a package to achieve the client's capital goals. (See Structuring Deals )
The loan proposal is arguably the most important part of the process. There are established ways of communicating the strengths and weaknesses of any investment, and the Equity Companies know the published and unpublished criteria our lenders require. This means quicker response and increased likelihood of a successful outcome. Our expertise can even consummate requests that were originally denied because they were ineffectively submitted.
Once the client accepts the loan proposals, a letter of engagement is signed. We will then collect supplementary data, such as appraisals, environmental reports and client documents, in order to present the most complete and positive picture to the lender. When all information is in hand, the Equity Companies will submit the deal to the institutional or private investors who are the best match for the client and project.
Your client will receive a loan commitment directly from the lender, and upon signing the loan commitment, the Equity Companies fees have been earned. Once the client has paid these fees, you will receive your generous referral fee from EquiNet (provided you have not made other fee arrangements directly with your client). Even better, your client referral is protected for up to five years. (See Benefits of Membership )
Getting commercial capital for your client couldn't be easier. Whether you choose to use us as a partner in the process or simply as a means of referral, the EquiNet is a more valuable choice than any other resource available in the market today. |
